First Softproviding customer in China

 

Tech-bank Food new with SAP Meat and Fish Management by msg for S4/HANA

 

Tech-bank Food is the first food producer from China to use the SAP Meat and Fish Management by msg for S4/HANA solution.

 

 

Tech-bank Food Co Ltd, originally a producer of aquafeed, which did not enter the pork meat market until 2013, is now already China’s sixth largest producer of pork. The company employs a good 4500 people and has an annual turnover of around 900 million USD. Its main activities are breeding and processing of pigs, production and sale of animal feed as well as research and development of veterinary pharmaceutical products.

 

As part of its growth strategy, Tech-bank Food announced in 2018 that it would build six new plants in addition to the existing slaughterhouse, each with a production volume of 5 million pigs per year, and in combination with the respective existing pig farms. The first of these plants is already under construction in Anhui Province in south-eastern China and is scheduled to go live at the end of 2021. According to Tech-bank Food, it is the largest slaughterhouse in China.

 

Tech-bank Food is the first customer in China to opt for Softproviding’s industry solution. First steps in the project are comprehensive demos and a proof of concept based on the requirements of Tech-bank Food. The Softproviding team is already looking forward to an exciting project and a successful market launch in China.
