After years of establishing and successfully consolidating solutions for the protein industry, Softproviding is now firmly anchored in the entire food industry with its product portfolio. One of the new customers is a large Austrian confectionery producer who, in addition to the various functionalities for the food industry, also wants to take advantage of the ease of the integrated plant data collection, especially in the QM area.

 

 

Furthermore, a major German manufacturer of spices has decided to redevelop various business processes. In doing so, the company is building on Softproviding’s many years of experience in the food industry. Since Food Management with its components integrates the connection of machines and production data acquisition with SAP, the replacement of the existing system can be carried out without any additional sub-system (MES). This sure was a compelling package!

 

Seafood companies rely on SAP Meat and Fish Management by msg

Two U.S. fish processing companies, including the largest fish processor in the U.S., have opted for the cloud-based solution SAP Meat and Fish Management by msg for S4/HANA. Both com-panies recognized the great added value of SAP Meat and Fish Management and will use it to handle planning, execution, product costing and tracking in the future.

 

 

At one of the two companies, which raises oysters and rainbow trout itself, Meat and Fish Management distinguished itself from the competition with a new innovation, the Cycle-Based Production module for livestock management.

An Italian retail chain decided in favor of Softproviding’s solution for the group-wide imple-mentation of S/4 HANA, as SAP Meat and Fish Management fully covers all industry-specific processes in the meat and fish processing production plants and thus eliminates isolated appli-cations.

Another heavyweight in the European food industry that relies on the SAP Meat and Fish Management by msg and SAP S4/HANA solution is an international food manufacturer whose product range includes fresh pork and beef as well as plant-based alternatives and processed products.
