Product Requirements for our Food solutions

Softproviding has fundamentally revised and streamlined the process for submitting new requirements or improvements to Product Management. This now applies to all customers and partners.

 

 

The central element of this process is a new form in which the most valuable information for an initial assessment by the Product Management department is entered. Further information can of course be submitted at any time. Requirements must be formulated clearly and comprehensibly; however, additional feedback may be necessary until all requirements have been met. The form is self-explanatory, so here are just a few additional comments:

 

  • Company: This field designates the customer or the requestor’s company (possibly the consulting firm in question).
  • Additional Information: Here you provide information that is not covered by the previous points, e.g., the date on which the request must be implemented.

 

The completed document must then be sent to the following e-mail address:

 

We will endeavor to respond as soon as possible. If the response is delayed, please inquire about the status via the support address. Depending on the volume of requirements, further interviews or workshops may be necessary. If necessary, these will be organized and coordinated by Product Management.

 

After assessment by Product Management, the requirements will either receive a reasoned rejection or an assigned feature number under which the requirement will be processed in future and which should be used for queries. Please note that we also have to prioritize requirements accordingly and, depending on this, make restrictions regarding the features that are feasible for a release. The assignment of a feature number does not automatically mean that the feature will be realized and delivered with the next release.

 

 

Important note

These requirements directed at Product Management are not intended for requesting consulting services. If there are any uncertainties regarding existing functions or their settings, please contact your implementation partner. In addition, any request should be discussed in advance with a qualified person (e.g., your system integrator) to ensure that it is indeed a new requirement for one of the solutions developed by Softproviding. We adhere to the “Principle of One” and do not develop functions that are already covered by other SAP products.
